Gasbarro's Wines Hosts Fundraiser for Women with Cancer

Gasbarro’s Wines is hosting its third annual “Taste for a Cause” fundraising wine tasting to benefit the Program in Women’s Oncology at Women & Infants Hospital, a Care New England hospital.

 

The evening event is planned for Friday, October 21, 2016, from 6:30 to 9:30 p.m., at the Aldrich Mansion, 836 Warwick Neck Ave., Warwick. Tickets are $100 apiece. Cocktail attire is requested.

 

In the past two years, “Taste for a Cause” has raised more than $75,000 to support the Program in Women’s Oncology and its Integrative Care Program, which provides complementary services such as yoga, massage, guided imagery, expressive arts and acupuncture for women with cancer in the community.

 

“We are pleased to be working with Gasbarro’s again to raise funds for our Integrative Care Program,” says Sandra Scuncio, director of the Program. “The services we are able to provide through the generosity of such events and donations help women with cancer feel better and stronger during treatment. It’s an invaluable part of their journey.”
