The 18,000-square-foot labor and delivery center (LDC) was designed with feedback from patients, care teams, and community partners. It blends cutting-edge medical technology with warmth, comfort, and personalization.
At the heart of our new LDC is choice. Whether you're planning a natural birth, working with a doula, or want a highly supported medical birth, our new spaces support your preferences.

- Spacious, Private Labor Rooms:
Each of the 20 rooms now spans 400 square feet - nearly double the size of our previous rooms - providing plenty of space for your support team, care providers, and even a doula if you choose.
- Private Bathrooms & Birthing Tubs:
Every room includes a private bathroom and access to birthing tubs, promoting comfort, mobility, and relaxation.
- Labor Slings & Birthing Supports:
Modern equipment such as birthing slings gives you the freedom to labor in positions that feel natural and empowering.
Digital artwork, customizable lighting, and expansive windows allow for a calm and healing atmosphere. You can even sync your breathing exercises to calming visuals or listen to your favorite playlists.

Need a change of scenery? Enjoy our peaceful indoor walking path, with benches available to rest and recharge.
- Smart Tech at Your Fingertips:
Adjust room lighting, request linens, or connect with your care team via bedside tablets. USB charging ports keep your devices powered so you can stay connected and capture every moment.

The new LDC isn’t just better looking – it’s smarter, too. Our spacious rooms allow the full care team, including maternal-fetal medicine specialists, NICU staff, nurses, and midwives, to be close by without feeling crowded.
Immediate newborn assessments and interventions can now happen in-room, where you can stay connected with your baby and your team.
