Victoria V. Snegovskikh, MD, has joined the Division of Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility at Women & Infants Hospital, a Care New England hospital. Dr. Snegovskikh recently completed her fellowship with the department of obstetrics and gynecology at Women & Infants and has since served as an assistant clinical professor in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at The Warren Alpert Medical School of Brown University.

She is a warm and caring provider and we are thrilled that she is joining the Center for Reproduction and Infertility team,” said Ruben Alvero, MD, FACOG, FACS, director of the Division of Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility (REI) in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at Women & Infants and the Alpert Medical School of Brown University.
Dr. Snegovskikh received her medical degree from O. P. Pavlov State Medical University of St. Petersburg in Russia and Karaganda State Medical University in Kazakhstan. Her postgraduate training includes a rotating internship and residency in obstetrics and gynecology at St. Petersburg Medical Academy of Postgraduate Education in Russia. Dr. Sengovskikh also completed a residency in the U.S. with the Yale University School of Medicine, in obstetrics and gynecology. She is board certified with the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology and Board Certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology in Russia.
Dr. Snegovskikh’s research interests include changes in cervical mucus and saliva in patients undergoing fertility treatments, cervical mucus as a barrier against infection during pregnancy and identification and characterization of membrane progesterone receptors in fetal membranes.
