Renee R. Eger, MD, FACOG
Renee Eger, MD, is director of the Menopause Program and medical director of the Obstetrics and Gynecology Care Center. A graduate of Brown University and Tufts University School of Medicine, Dr. Eger completed her residency in obstetrics and gynecology at Women & Infants Hospital and is board certified in obstetrics and gynecology and a member of the North American Menopause Society. In 2017, Dr. Eger became a North American Menopause Society (NAMS) Certified Menopause Practitioner (NCMP).
Ruben J. Alvero, MD
Ruben Alvero, MD, is director of the Division of Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility. A graduate of Harvard University, Dr. Alvero earned his medical degree at the F. Edward Hebert School of Medicine, Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences in Bethesda, MD. He completed a residency in obstetrics and gynecology at Walter Reed Army Medical Center and a fellowship in reproductive endocrinology and infertility at the National Institutes of Health.
Kenneth K. Chen, MD
Kenneth Chen, MD, is director of the Division of Obstetric and Consultative Medicine. Dr. Chen received a MBBS degree, the equivalent of an MD degree, at the University of Sydney in Australia after which he completed a residency in internal medicine at Westmead Hospital, University of Sydney. He completed dual fellowships in endocrinology at The Prince of Wales Hospital, University of New South Wales, Sydney, and in obstetric and consultative medicine at Women & Infants/Brown University.
Heather M. Hurlburt, MD
Heather Hurlburt, MD, is a cardiologist with Brigham and Women’s Cardiovascular Associates at Care New England and is co-director of Women’s Heart Health of Women & Infants. A graduate of Tufts Medical School, she completed her residency in internal medicine at New York Hospital Cornell Medical Center and her fellowship in cardiology at the University of Massachusetts.
Alice Y. Kim, MD, FACC
Alice Kim, MD, is a cardiologist with Brigham and Women’s Cardiovascular Associates at Care New England and is co-director of Women’s Heart Health of Women & Infants. A graduate of Wellesley College and SUNY Upstate Medical University, she completed her residency and fellowship in general internal medicine and cardiology at the Alpert Medical School/Rhode Island Hospital.
Jessica A. Pineda, MD
Jessica Pineda, MD, sees patients at Women & Infants’ Center for Primary Care and Center for Women’s Behavioral Health. A graduate of Luther College and the Medical College of Wisconsin in Milwaukee, she completed an internship and residency at the University of Cincinnati in psychiatry and family medicine.
Carol A. Wheeler, MD
Carol Wheeler, MD, is a reproductive endocrinologist in the Division of Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility. A graduate of Jefferson Medical College in Philadelphia, she completed her residency in obstetrics and gynecology at Miami Valley Hospital in Dayton, OH and her fellowship training in reproductive endocrinology and infertility at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania.
