The Infusion Center at Kent Hospital

The Infusion Center is an outpatient facility on the Kent Hospital campus where you can receive IV treatments prescribed by your doctor and staffed with nurses who specialize in oncology and IV procedures.

Our Center has comfortable patient areas with reclining lounge chairs, individual cable TV, and music stations. Another amenity is our lounge with a self-service kitchenette and snacks for patients. A box lunch is provided for patients undergoing longer treatments. A stretcher is available for comfort, as well as a private treatment room for procedures. The Center also features a beautiful "Serenity Garden" where patients may relax, weather permitting.

Literature and information are available about treatments, medications, and illnesses, as well as the opportunity to review and discuss any questions you may have with one of the Center's nurse specialists.

About the Murray Family Infusion Center

We believe in treating all of our patients’ needs Infusion_Centeralong their cancer journey and doing so in modern and comfortable surroundings. In 2014, we opened the Murray Family Infusion Center and the Carter Family Integrative Care Suite in the Bernard and Ina Wasserman Family Building which also houses the Program in Women’s Oncology and Breast Health Center.

The Murray Family Infusion Center is more than twice the size of the program’s former facility and offers private and semi-private treatment spaces for chemotherapy and other treatments, a lounge, and a nourishment center for patients, their family members, and caregivers. Each ergonomically designed infusion station has enough room for a caregiver to accompany the patient for treatment.

Nearby, the Carter Family Integrative Care Suite was created as a dedicated space for our wellness programs and complementary therapies for patients undergoing cancer treatment and their caregivers. In addition to providing world-class cancer care, our goal is to offer services - from massage therapy to reiki to acupuncture – that help to ease a woman’s physical pain or the side effects of her treatment.
