Maternal Fetal Medicine Research

Brown/Women & Infants Hospital is one of 12 university-based clinical centers that make up the National Institute of Child Health and Human Development MFMU Network. The Maternal Fetal Medicine Units Network (MFMU) focuses on clinical questions in maternal-fetal medicine and obstetrics, particularly with respect to the continuing problem of preterm birth. The Brown/Women & Infants MFMU actively contributes to protocols and patient recruitment.
