The “Being Excellent Everyday” (BEE) award recognizes our team members who support excellence in patient care through the demonstration of ACT values (Accountability, Caring & Teamwork).

Monthly winners will be chosen among those nominated to receive a celebration on their unit, a bee pin, and a hand-carved stone sculpture. All nominees will receive a certificate to commemorate our gratitude for the excellence that they show up with every day.

Who is Eligible for a Bee Award?

This award can be given to any Women & Infants Hospital employee who works in a role supporting patient care. 
These roles include, but are not limited to:

• Certified Nursing Assistants
• Secretaries
• Food & Nutrition Employees 
• Environmental Services Aides
• Laboratory Personnel 
• Diagnostic Imaging Staff
• Patient Access staff
• And any other employees outside of the nursing role
