Our team of highly trained physicians offer comprehensive obstetrics and gynecology services from a patient’s initial exam, to childbirth, through menopause, and beyond. We are dedicated to providing our patients with high quality, individualized care with compassion and respect.

Our goal is to provide the highest quality obstetric and gynecologic care in a warm, friendly environment. Our entire staff embraces this goal and will treat you with dignity and respect. We are committed to providing the very best medical care possible with our patients’ best interests at heart.

We feel honored and privileged to be health care providers, and we treat our patients in the same manner as we would want and expect our family and loved ones to be treated. It was with that philosophy in mind that Caring for Women was established.

Getting Medications Refilled

Taking medications is an important part of staying healthy, and our goal is to make it as easy as possible for you to refill medications.

The fastest and safest way to refill your medications is to call your pharmacy and ask them to electronically request a refill from your doctor. This will speed up the process and minimize the possibility of medication errors.

We process all refill requests as soon as possible, however there are occasional delays. Please allow up to 48 hours for a refill request, and make sure to call your pharmacy before you are out of your medicines to avoid missed doses.

Unless it is an emergency, we are unable to refill medications over the weekend, so please request refills by Wednesday evening if you are going to run out over a weekend.

After Hours Care

If you have a life-threatening emergency, please call 911 immediately. In an effort to provide safe and comprehensive care, our office has a physician available 24 hours a day, seven days a week. If you are sick after hours and do not feel like you can wait until the office opens to speak with a physician, please call our office number (401) 739-2000 to reach our answering service. If appropriate, the physician on-call will be paged. If you do not hear from the physician within 30 minutes, please call the answering service again.
