Pediatric and Adolescent Gynecology

Pediatric and Adolescent Gynecology

A woman's body is very different and more developed than the body of a young or adolescent girl, and the gynecologic problems of younger females need special expertise. The Pediatric and Adolescent Gynecology Clinic is the only place in the region that can offer this level of care for females from birth to age 23.

Our team of gynecologists sees patients who need evaluation and treatment of such gynecologic issues as:

  • Amenorrhea (when there is no menstrual cycle)
  • Heavy or abnormal menstrual bleeding
  • Congenital anomalies of the reproductive tract
  • Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome
  • Labial agglutination
  • Ovarian cysts
  • Vulvar skin problems
  • Vaginal discharge
  • Contraception
  • Gender affirming care
