Women & Infants Family and Visitor Guidelines

Visiting Your Family & Friends

At Women & Infants Hospital, we know how important family and friends are to our patients. Our visitation guidelines have been developed to provide a resting and healing environment for our patients while also meeting the needs of our visitors.

Please note: For the safety of our patients and staff, only mylar (non-latex) balloons are allowed in the hospital. No balloons are allowed in the NICU.

General Visitor Information

  • For the safety of our patients, all visitors must check in at our Reception Desk in the South Pavilion to get a Visitor’s Passport while in the hospital.

  • Visiting hours are from 12 to 8 pm daily.

  • Banded family members or significant others are not considered visitors and may come to the hospital at any time.
