Philanthropy Report 2011 Common Vehicles for Giving
Nursing Endowment Funds Auxiliary
Planned Giving

Every year we gratefully accept donations of all sizes from donors in many different constituencies. The common thread is that all our donors, by virtue of their support, help Women & Infants Hospital to maintain and improve the health status and well-being of women and infants and to provide essential services regardless of ability to pay.

There are many ways that you can help foster generations of miracles. Generally, your gifts may fall under one of two broad categories:  Annual Fund Giving or Endowment Giving.

Simply explained, gifts to the Annual Fund provide a reliable resource to assist with the ongoing current needs of the hospital. Endowment helps to secure the long term viability of the hospital, a safety net for the future.  Any gift can be unrestricted (used for greatest need at the hospital’s discretion) or restricted for a specific area or hospital service.

Please note that Women & Infants is tax-exempt under section 501 (c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code and that all gifts are tax-deductible to the extent provided by law and that all information regarding your giving is strictly confidential.  In addition, to ensure the privacy of all our donors, Women & Infants Hospital never shares, sells or exchanges its donor list with any organization or individual in compliance with federal law.
