Partnering with You

Women & Infants High School Volunteer Programs are designed to maximize hospital resources, effectively integrate youth in service, educational programming, and to support a safe and secure work environment while exposing students to a variety of occupations in the health care industry. We value the contributions of our junior workforce and look forward to partnering with you.

Students who have completed one year of high school, have aspirations to be part of the health care industry, and are able to make a minimum commitment of 40 hours, are eligible to participate in the teen volunteering program.

Summer Program

As of March 7th, we are no longer accepting applications for the high school summer program. We encourage you to explore opportunities at one of our other Care New England affiliates, Kent Hospital or Memorial Hospital. Thank you for your interest.

High School Internships or Senior Projects

The Summer Program is a prerequisite for students who are interested in opportunities to meet school objectives.

Community Service

Students who are required to do community service hours to meet a school or personal obligation are encouraged to review the Summer Program timeline and requirements to meet this objective.
