Deborah L. Myers, MD is vice chair of the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology, director of the Division of Urogynecology and Reconstructive Pelvic Surgery, and a professor of OB/GYN at The Warren Alpert Medical School of Brown University. A graduate of the State University of New York at Stony Brook Medical School, Dr. Myers completed a medical-surgical internship at Rhode Island Hospital and a residency in obstetrics and gynecology at Women & Infants before joining the hospital in 1992. Dr. Myers maintains a particular interest in the therapy of interstitial cystitis. Dr. Myers is director of Continuing Medical Education at Women & Infants and chair of the promotions committee of the Department of Ob/Gyn at The Warren Alpert Medical School of Brown University. She is past president of the national American Urogynecologic Society.

Dr. Myers was named the American Urogynecologic Society (AUGS) recipient of the National Association of Continence 2012 Rodney Appell Continence Care Champion Award. She is an oral examiner for the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology and a member of the FDA advisory panel on Ob/Gyn medical devices. She has achieved certification in Female Pelvic Medicine and Reconstructive Pelvic Surgery (FPMRS) by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology (ABOG).

She has been named a U.S. News Top Doctor and has been ranked among the top 1% in her specialty.
