Barbara M. O'Brien, MD
is director of Perinatal Genetics, co-director of Women & Infants’ Prenatal Diagnosis Center, associate director of the third-year medical student core clerkship in ob/gyn, and an assistant professor of obstetrics and gynecology at The Warren Alpert Medical School of Brown University.
Dr. O'Brien is one of fewer than 50 individuals in the country who are triple board certified in obstetrics and gynecology, maternal-fetal medicine, and medical genetics. Her clinical interests include fetal sonography, invasive techniques for the diagnosis of chromosomal and genetic disorders, and the diagnosis and treatment of twin to twin transfusion syndrome.
