The Volunteer Services Department is looking for clerical volunteers to assist in collating and preparing a variety of packets and materials for our patients and staff. This is a wonderful opportunity for an individual or small group who enjoys setting and meeting production goals!
Direction and guidance is provided by staff in the Volunteer Services Department. Volunteers work at their own pace and are instrumental in keeping our busy patient care units stocked with the forms they need to take care of our patients' medical needs.

Project LINK is a program that provides substance abuse and addiction services and support to women who are pregnant and parenting. Volunteers assist child care staff while moms are in involved with clinicians and programming. They also assist with organizing donated items and general office duties, when needed.
Volunteers need to be able to work effectively with others and enjoy toddlers and preschooler children. Individuals working in the program must possess patience and compassion for others. Volunteers are needed weekday mornings.
Clerical and Administrative support is critical to support our patient care mission. Women & Infants is looking for volunteers to help with administrative tasks in departments across the hospital such as Program In Women's Oncology, Quality Management, Dietary, Medical Staff Office, Volunteer Services and others. Volunteers may do data entry, answer telephones, file, process mailings, and collate paperwork. We are looking for individuals with basic computer skills in Microsoft programs. Volunteers should possess good communication and organizational skills and be detailed oriented.
Neonatal Intensive Care Unit Greeters are sought to welcome and assist family members of patients in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit. Volunteers assist with traffic flow and connecting babies with parents. Bilingual skills are especially helpful in welcoming and directing visitors as they enter this busy critical care unit. A relaxed, calming demeanor is important, in this role as is an ability to make people feel welcomed as they enter the unit.
Crafts & Handiwork help pass the time for some of our long term patients. Volunteers who knit, crochet or do other crafts that can be simplified for patients to do from bed are encouraged to share their talents. Some volunteers prepare as well as deliver craft projects to patient rooms. If you have a special talent that would provide diversion to bed bound patients, we would like to speak with you about the possibilities!
