Women & Infants’ Health Education Department provides new parents with a toll-free telephone support system. This popular service, staffed by professional nurses, offers helpful information regarding new baby, breast-feeding and postpartum issues. The Warm Line also offers breastfeeding tips.

Physician Referral Line
Women & Infants’ Health Education Department provides patients and the community-at-large with a toll-free telephone support system, answered by nurses and lactation consultants, that assists them in making decisions regarding their health and that of their families.
The Health Line provides callers with answers to health-related questions,assists patients requiring health care direction and advice and offers appropriate referrals to doctors through our Physician Referral system.
Through our Physician Referral program we provide callers from Rhode Island and southeastern Massachusetts communities with the names of doctors who offer the particular specialized service the caller is seeking.
