Neonatal Follow-Up Clinic - 30th Anniversary

Women & Infants' Neonatal Follow-Up Clinic is celebrating its 30th anniversary. During that time, Dr. Betty Vohr and her staff have worked tirelessly and selflessly to nurture, promote and encourage the proper physical, developmental and behavioral growth of the graduates of our Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU).

As we begin to move ONWARD in our plans for a new NICU, we take this opportunity to look back at the successes of the past 30 years. We thank the physicians, nurses, social workers, respiratory therapists, pharmacists, nutritionists, support staff and the full NICU team for their ongoing commitment to excellence. We also thank the parents of the children depicted, and the children themselves, who opened their homes and their hearts to us and shared their thoughts and dreams.

Below are photos of the 13 NICU graduates featured in Women & Infants' 2007 calendar. Roll over each photo to see how far they have come, and click on the photos to read the stories written by the children and their families.

Dr. Vohr also participated in a recent Q&A to share more about the purpose, evolution and future of the Neonatal Follow-Up Clinic.
