As a new nurse at Women & Infants, we want to help you be the best caregiver possible. To do that, we offer an in-depth orientation program on all nursing units. This program emphasizes the mastery of critical skills and enhances the knowledge and skill you bring to us.
Experienced and graduate nurses alike receive the same comprehensive training, eliminating any requirement for previous ob/gyn or NICU experience.
Orientation can last from six weeks to five months, depending on the department you will work in.
