Soaking tubs

Many laboring mothers find that the warmth of the water in our soaking tubs distract them from the contractions. The tub may delay the need for medication or lessen the amount of medication used in labor. We will monitor the baby’s heart rate and your temperature while you are in the tub. You do not need to bring a bathing suit. We will give you a johnny to wear. Your partner can stay by your side but not get into the tub with you. We also clean the tub between each use.
