Reassurance for High-Risk Pregnancies
For mothers experiencing high-risk pregnancies, our obstetrical staff and maternal-fetal medicine and obstetric medicine specialists provide outstanding care throughout pregnancy and labor through New England's only Integrated Program for High-Risk Pregnancy, including our new Obesity in Pregnancy Clinic. In addition, pregnant women and their families who need genetic counseling or special monitoring will be seen at our state-of-the-art Prenatal Diagnosis Center.
Care for the Tiniest, Frailest Babies
Our state-of-the-art, single-family room Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) provides around-the-clock care for premature babies, those full-term infants who have unexpected problems, and those who need additional medical attention. Highly trained specialists are on hand to answer any questions and explain each infant's care plan.

Single-family rooms offer a special couch that converts to a bed to allow both parents to stay close to their baby, 24/7. The family lounge features a full kitchen and bathrooms with showers for parents. There is plenty of space for new parents to decompress, as well as a play area where older siblings can be entertained.
Here to Help
Patients in the hospital may reach out to our Patient and Family Experience staff.
After a mother returns home, a nurse calls to check on her healing and the baby's progress. Women & Infants also offers the Warm Line, an important resource that allows new moms to speak with a nurse.
