When you have an adult patient who needs to be transferred to Women & Infants Hospital, you only need to make one call! 1-877-94WOMEN.

Through the Access Center, providers have round-the-clock access to a team of experienced nurses and care managers who will work with you to facilitate the safe and efficient transfer of your patients from around the region, giving you easy access to our specialty services.

Our registered nurses and care coordinators will work directly with you to:
  • Manage a high-risk obstetric or women's oncology transfer from any of the hospitals in our region
  • Determine a bed assignment for your patient
  • Process your patient's admission to the hospital
  • Coordinate communications between you and our attending physicians
Our goal is to give you EASY and QUICK access to transfer your patient to Women & Infants.

Patient Safety Is A Priority
Women & Infants has initiated an ongoing series of measures to ensure patient safety. Raymond Powrie, MD, discusses ways physicians and patients can work together to make sure their experience is a safe one.
