Nursing at Women & Infants Hospital

Caring for women and newborns takes a special kind of nurse. Those are the nurses we employ at Women & Infants Hospital (to see our hospital at a glance, click here).
As the 10th largest obstetrical service in the country – with the area’s only tertiary level Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) and a full range of health services for women - Women & Infants is always bustling.
In 2005, we received state approval to add a 150,000-square foot addition to the main hospital. The new space will include more postpartum beds and a two-story, 80-bed NICU featuring individual rooms for our patients and their families.
Throughout our 121-year history, our nurses have played an integral part in the stellar care we give each patient and the warmth and comfort we show their entire family.
Now, we invite new nurses to join us and be a part of the excitement of our expansion and grow with us.
