Project Link Partnership
The Women &
Infants’ Partnership Project is a collaboration of five existing Women &
Infants’ departments and programs: Project Link, the Women’s Behavioral Health
Program, the Day Hospital, the Women’s Primary Care Center, and the Department
of Medicine. The goal of the
Partnership Project is to develop, implement, and evaluate comprehensive, fully
integrated, and client-focused care that is accessible and sensitive to women
with co-occurring substance abuse and mental health diagnosis.
The Partnership Project draws upon Women & Infants’
unique access to the population of pregnant and parenting women as well as the
hospital’s expertise and resources in women’s health to create a model for
effective collaboration among primary health care, mental health, and addiction
treatment service providers that has the potential to be replicated in other
settings.
