Cindy is an active volunteer with experience working in Haiti with "Midwives for Haiti" and "Circle of Health International" and in RI at the RI Free Clinic. Dr. Pablo Rodriguez is Chair of the Women & Infants Health Care Alliance, President and CEO at Women's Care, former Medical Director of Planned Parenthood of Rhode Island, and a Clinical Associate Professor at the Waren Alpert Medical School at Brown University.

He is a well known community leader and an active participant in civic and charitable organizations both locally and nationally. He is Past Chairman of the Association of Reproductive Health Professionals in Washington, DC and has also been Chair of the Rhode Island Foundation, the International Institute of RI, the Rhode Island Latino Political Action Committee, RI Project AIDS, and led the effort for the $1.5 million Capital Campaign to benefit Progreso Latino, the leading social service agency for new immigrants.

He was actively involved in the Health Care Reform Commission in charge of drafting the Rite Care legislation in Rhode Island and has been involved in numerous Health Department initiatives such as Chairman of the Minority Health Advisory Committee and the Preventive Health Advisory Commission. He has received numerous awards for his community involvement including the Community Service Award from the American Medical Association in 1994 and Planned Parenthood of RI in 1996. In 1996 he was named a Community Hero Torchbearer for the Olympic Torch Relay of the 1996 Olympics. He received the Bertram Jaffee Award for advocacy in Public Health, given by the RI Public Health Association.

The John Hope Settlement House also gave him their highest honor, The Paris Vaughn Sterett Award for community service and the Ministers Alliance bestowed him with the Martin Luther King Service Award. Rhode Island Monthly magazine has included him twice in their "Top Doctors" edition. Host of radio and television programs he is currently featured in "Hablemos" and "Nuestra Salud" on WELH 88.1 FM, Latino Public Radio, where he also serves as Chairman and CEO.

Linda Nanni has been a certified nurse-midwife (CNM) for 28 years. She came to Rhode Island in 1984 to begin a midwifery service at the Rhode Island Group Health Association. She supervised that service for 6 years. She has been in private practice since then. Linda is the past Chairperson of the Rhode Island Chapter of the American College of Nurse-Midwives and remains actively involved in statewide affairs that affect maternal-child health.
 
She has been an advisor to the Department of Health on various issues including Rite Care, prescription privileges for CNMs, and barriers to the practice for midwives. She currently sits on the Midwifery Council of the RI Department of Health where she advised the Director on statewide midwifery issues. She currently is the Regional Representative to the American College of Nurse-Midwives where she represents all the New England states.

She has been active and continues to be committed to in the training of midwifery students and is currently on the teaching staff of Yale University and the Frontier Scholl of Midwifery and Philadelphia University.

She has been with Women's Care since June 1996 and is the Director of the midwifery service here. She is passionate about providing access to midwifery care and helping women have a safe and satisfying childbirth experience.

Emily Harrison is a family doctor committed to the care of underserved women and their families. She joined Women's Care in 2006 after completing her Family Medicine Residency at the MemorialHospital of Rhode Island,followed by a 2 year fellowshipin Maternal Child Health at Thundermist Health Center and Landmark Hospital.Dr. Harrison is the founder and Medical Director of our Family Practice division. Trained to care for women, men, and children at all stages of life, she has a special interest in obstetrics as well as in medical problems during pregnancy.Dr. Harrison delivers full spectrum family medicine to women, men and children. She performs C-sections as well as the full spectrum of prenatal care and vaginal deliveries. Based in our Pawtucket office, she sees children as well as men and women of all ages.

Dr. Harrison is Clinical Assistant Professor in the Department of Family Medicine at Brown/Warren Alpert Medical School, where she is the Assistant Director of Maternal Child Health. She is actively involved in the teaching of obstetrics and newborn care to Family Medicine residents and fellows.

Dr. Harrison is the volunteer Executive Director of Shoulder to Shoulder, a non-profit organization dedicated to health care delivery and poverty reduction in Honduras.She travels to Honduras several times a year in this capacity, and frequently lectures on topics in global health here in the United States. She is a recipient of the Dean's Excellence in Teaching Award from the Warren Alpert Medical School and received the American Academy of Family Physicians Humanitarian of the Year award in 2012. She was chosen as a Top Doctor for Women by RI Monthly magazine in 2008.

Dr. Harrison speaks Spanish and some French. She is an avid cyclist and marathon runner and enjoys gardening, baking, and kayaking.

Kathleen has been a part of Women's Care since 2010. sShe moved to Providence after graduating from Frontier College, and completing her clinical internship in Florida. She currently serves as the vice-president for the Rhode Island chapter of the American College of Nurse Midwives. Kathleen enjoys teaching and currently serves as a preceptor for Yale, Frontier, and Philadelphia University's; additionally, she has also taught at a local community college.

Prior to beginning her career in midwifery, Kathleen worked as a nurse in a very busy academic labor and delivery unit at Shands at the University of Florida for nine years. During this time she also taught, doing clinical experiences for as well as working as a birth assistant with the Florida School for Traditional Midwifery in Gainesville, FL. Kathleen has a special interest in adolescent pregnancy, as well as gynecology and family planning. She lives in Newport with her two teenage daughters, and is happy to call Rhode Island home.

Carol Cancro has practiced family medicine in Rhode Island and Massachusetts since 1996.  She has spent the bulk of her career in community-health centers, providing care for largely underserved and uninsured patients. Prior to relocating to the United States, Dr. Dang soent four years at one of the largest OBGYN hospitals in Ho Chi Minh City. He received his Masters in Public Health in Bordeaux, France and a diploma in Prenatal Diagnosis from the University of Medicine Rene Decartes Paris V. He is fluent in French and Vietnamese.
