Biography

Nicole Korbly, MD, FACOG, is an assistant professor, clinician educator at The Warren Alpert Medical School of Brown University and a member of the active staff at Women & Infants Hospital. Dr. Korbly is a graduate of the University of Massachusetts Medical School and completed a residency in obstetrics and gynecology at Women & Infants Hospital.

Following residency, Dr. Korbly completed a fellowship in female pelvic medicine and reconstructive surgery at Women & Infants Hospital. Dr. Korbly achieved certification in Female Pelvic Medicine and Reconstructive Surgery (FPMRS) by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology (ABOG). She is a member of the American Congress of Obstetricians and Gynecologists, the American Urogynecologic Society, and the Society of Gynecologic Surgeons. She serves the American Urogynecologic Society on their Public Education Committee and Society of Gynecologic Surgeons as an advisor for the Fellows Pelvic Research Network.

Dr. Korbley has a strong interest in patient education, and herresearch and clinical interests include patient understanding and perspectives of pelvic floor disorders. Dr. Korbly specializes in non-surgical and surgical approaches to pelvic organ prolapse, urinary incontinence, and fecal incontinence, including minimally-invasive surgical techniques for the treatment of pelvic floor disorders.
